What should I do if my cargo is lost or damaged?
In the rare event that your cargo is damaged or lost in transit, please notify your local Balkan Shipping agent immediately. Balkan Shipping may ask you to provide documents in support of your claim, and may arrange for your cargo to be inspected by an independent surveyor to determine the extent of the damage, upon prior written notice. Please be aware that any delay in notifying Balkan Shipping regarding such matters may adversely affect your rights in these cases.
